Four Additions to the Law of Attraction by Melissa Alvarez

Key and label. Hope concept

Most people have heard about the Law of Attraction and how it can be used to attract the things you desire in your life to you. Yet, this is but one of many natural laws of the Universe. Can you imagine how successful you’d be if you were able to connect to and apply some of the other natural laws to your specific needs? There are many laws that can help you grow on a soul level and that lead to a happy, abundant life once you apply them to your spiritual truth. In Believe and Receive, I urge you to consider new angles, to think about how the laws work, and to take actions to help the Universe help you bring about your desires in life. By deepening your beliefs, by expanding your knowledge of the natural laws, you can lead a successful and abundant life. The Universe has your back and will help you every step of the way. Let’s take a look at four laws that aren’t as well known as the Law of Attraction—but are just as powerful.

  1. The Law of Light
The Law of Light means to connect to your own inner light to reveal your inner truth and to enable you to see the inner truth within others. Light illuminates what isn’t easily seen; it guides the way during the darkest of times and enables you to become more empowered and form a deeper connection to your own consciousness and core spiritual being. People have always believed in the power of light over darkness, of good over evil. The Law of Light means embracing your Divine radiance within your soul and expressing it through your spirituality for the world to see. The Law of Light means seeing the light within others and appreciating them as spiritual beings filled with light.

When you’re connected to the Law of Light it means you’re experiencing growth at a spiritual level; you’re becoming illuminated and understanding not only aspects of your individual reality but the Universal reality as well. Embracing the Law of Light means that we embrace all that we are, all that we have been in this life and in past lives, and that we are becoming a beacon of light to others, teaching them to embrace the light within themselves. You can use the Law of Light to protect your spiritual essence from negativity, to open yourself to deeper Universal revelations, to block impure energy that might impede your spiritual growth, and to empower you. Light energy draws highly positive people and situations to you, which can help you become more successful in life. Many people use white light when working with the Law of Light, but you may also find that you’re drawn to other colors of light, such as purple, gold, and blue, all of which is strong and pure. Using creative visualization, you can imagine the light working for you and helping you achieve the results that you’re trying to attain in life. Give the light a purpose and then set it free to work on your behalf.

  2. The Law of Action
The Law of Action is an active law. It means that in order to achieve your desired results you have to actually do something to make them happen. The Law of Action means that you’re not just going to be sitting by the pool one day drinking mint juleps when someone will walk up to you and hand you the keys to a brand new car. What this law means is that you have to get out there and make things happen to receive what you want. If you want a new car but your credit is too low, then you have to take steps to fix your credit. If you need a larger down payment, then you have to save money until you have enough.

The Law of Action means that you can’t just sit back and wait for things to come to you. If you do, you might be waiting for a very long time. Instead, help the Universe help you receive what you’re supposed to have in life by taking the right steps and actions that will bring about the results you want faster. Doing so helps you reach your true potential. Hard work combined with belief will also give you a deeper sense of pride in your accomplishments than you would have if everything was just given to you. Take action to obtain your hopes and desires, to make your dreams come true, and to create the type of life that you want for yourself. The more action you take, the more the Universe will hand over to you because you’re trying to make things happen for yourself.

If you’re not taking action and are instead waiting for things to be handed to you, think about why this is. Are you afraid to make a move toward your goals because someone might make fun of you or tell you that you’re wasting your time because you aren’t going to be successful? People will try to hold you back from your dreams, even if they don’t realize they’re doing it. Don’t worry about what other people think and go for what you want. You deserve it all.

  3. The Law of Clarity
The Law of Clarity means that you know what you want in life, you’re clear about your life’s purpose, and you know your intentions in all that you do. Being clear mentally and emotionally will help you to achieve your goals. When you’re unclear or unfocused about what you want to achieve and how you’re going to achieve it, then your path will meander here and there instead of being a straight line that leads to the prize you’re trying to achieve and make it more difficult to reach your goals.

Speaking out loud, giving voice to your intentions, is important when practicing the Law of Clarity. Speaking words gives them power and purpose. Writing them down does, too. If you’re not comfortable speaking what you’re going to do and what you’re going to achieve, then write it down in a journal and keep up with your pathway to success by writing down things as they happen. Be clear and exact in what you write so there’s no room for misinterpretation. If you’re unsure of what you’re trying to achieve, then it can be difficult to be successful in attaining what you want because you don’t really know what you want. Voicing or writing it down will help give it clarity.

Following the Law of Clarity can help you live your soul purpose because you’ll be more connected to your spiritual essence and the path that you chose to take during this lifetime. It means that you’ll be clear about what you want and how you’re going to get it; you’ll be sure of your decisions as you make them instead of second-guessing yourself. You’ll have purpose behind your actions and will be honest with yourself about your desires and dreams. Living the Law of Clarity means you know who you are and where you’re going in life and that you’re filled with joy and happiness as you walk a clear path forward with purpose.

  4. The Law of Perspective
How you perceive the things that happen in your life determines how you react to situations. The Law of Perspective states that we all have a unique point of view that reflects our personal beliefs. As our perspective changes, our beliefs can change and as our beliefs change, it changes our perspective. Your attitude about something is directly connected to your perspective, which is determined by your own inner truth.

If you’re in a happy mood you’ll tend to see things more positively. But if you woke up with a headache and are in a bad mood, then things that normally wouldn’t bother you become problems—it’s all about your perspective that day. Perspective affects your emotions and can make you excited or worried, enthusiastic or pessimistic, or over the moon about some upcoming event or simply over it. Perspective affects how you treat others based on how you view their actions and the things they say.

When using the Law of Perspective it is important to look at situations from multiple points of view so that you get a well balanced perspective before you make a decision or take action. Sometimes what you see from one perspective isn’t the way a situation truly is. In order to be successful in reaching your desires, make sure you have a well-rounded perspective in all situations so that you can help them work for you to achieve your greatest goals. Perspective can help you see resolutions to situations where you feel stuck, increase your level of consciousness, and increase the connection to your spiritual self and the Divine.

Your perspective is constantly changing based on the situations you’re in, the amount of rest you’ve had, whether you’re well or ill, and your mood. Try to keep a positive, upbeat perspective, and an open mind so that you can see multiple perspectives as you reach for your goals.

Believing and receiving means that you are positive, upbeat, optimistic, and powerful even during the darkest of times. You know that you will receive what you’re putting in the Universe back to you (so always put out the best energy you can). There may be setbacks along the way but if you embrace the natural laws of the universe to help you on your path, then you’ll surely be blessed with more than you ever thought possible. Set your standards, work hard to get what you want in life, and have a clear perspective as you walk your path. Help others along the way without asking for anything in return or making their situations about you. Give your attention to the things that are going right in your life to embrace a pattern of positivity. Look forward to each day as a new adventure on your life path. Success happens because you begin and try your best. Make each day a great one.
