There is a good chance that, at some point in your life, you will experience the presence of a ghost or other kind of discarnate spirit. When you do, there is also the possibility that you will be able to identify who they were in life and even recogmize them as a member of your family.
Imagine what it would be like if you could communicate directly with them and that they were still actively involved in your life.
This was exactly the situation that psychic medium Bridget Benson found herself in whilst coping with the slow and painful demise of her mother. She has recorded her experiences of many years of close contact with the dead in her latest book We Walk Beside You Always.
The book opens with a harrowing record of the final few weeks that she spent caring for her dying mother. This is not an uncommon scenario. Many people find themselves dealing with their elderly relatives, except that the situation that the author found herself in was quite different.
As she made preparations for the eventual death of her mother, she discovered that her dead father was aiding her in the process, while, at the same time, preparing himself for his wife’s entry into the heavenly realm.
Later on, in 2012, the author faced the impending death of her brother from cancer. This time, she was in regular contact with the spirits of both of her dead parents, who, as it turns out, were also engaged in her brother’s care while he was in hospital.
Eventually, happier times come with the marriage of her eldest son. At the wedding ceremony, she witnessed the presence of all of her dead relatives, they had come to Earth to take part in this joyous occasion.
These, as well as other recollections of her psychic experiences, take up the first part of her book.
Later on, the author includes accounts of many of the professional psychic readings that she has done for others over the years.
There then follows stories of her experiences whilst serving at her local spiritualist church. She describes the many signs she receives from the afterlife whilst taking services there.
Finally, she describes spirit communications as received through dreams and ends the book with a extra-ordinary account of her own near death experience along with a personal encounter with Saint Peter at Heaven’s Gate.
