Have you ever had that inner sense that someone you know is thinking about you or you happen to be thinking about them the very moment that they send you an email or call you on your phone?
Telepathy can be experienced at any time and in a variety of ways. Whilst, for most of the time, we experience telepathic exchanges in totally spontaneous ways it is possible to consciously project your thoughts at someone and to force them to act in ways that they might not be expecting.
In his book, Mind Reading Quick & Easy, Richard Webster explores the hidden world of telepathy, mind-reading, thought exchange and precognition.
From the start he makes it clear that rather than being a rare talent, we are all mind-readers to a degree and that in any given situation we are actually communicating with friends, family and work collegues at a subliminal level.
Webster explains how this is generally initiated first of all through a rapport, or close connection, to others. He explains how this link, or channel, of unspoken communication can be opened up. The techniques he advocates using are based around such skills as the use of the power of focussed intent, mirroring the other persons’ language or movements and syncronized breathing.
Body language also forms a part of the process of rapport as do significant eyes and facial movements. The author offers practical advice on how all of these can be monitored and interpreted for their hidden meanings.
When ithe rapport between two people has been established the author offers practical advice on how to connect the minds of two individuals and to initiate the process of mental exchange.
In a slight twist on this practice Richard also introduces exercises designed to help you pick up telepathic information through non-human contact; such as over the phone and through email messages.
Another technique presented in the book for developing your mind-reading skills is the use of ESP cards, or a pack of standard playing cards, as a way of strengthening your intuition and for transmitting information to a receiver about the color, value or suit of a chosen card.
These are all highly effectual practice methods for strengthening the psychic ability but later on in the book the author presents more advanced exercises using photographs, dice and drawings.
Later on he introduces to the reader the practice of Haragei which is the Japanese art if communicating thoughts and feelings without the use of words or body language.
As the book advances through increasingly complex psychic proceedures so the level of telepathic ability is ramped up. In his chapter on Contact Mind Reading the author draws upon the earlier skills as a way of perfecting the process of direct mental exchange between a sender and a receiver.
Whilst, up to this point, most of these practices have revolved around two people, the author also discusses group tests involving a few friends or interested individuals.
Finally, he also considers the telepathic exchange that can exist between humans and other species, telepathy in dreams; as well as telepathy in professional psychic work.
The book closes with the inclusion if a section of suggested reading, and an index.
Our Review of Mind Reading Quick and Easy by Richard Webster
If you have even the slightest interest in telepathy and mind reading then I can thoroughly recommend this book to you.
Actually, there are so few genuinely interesting books on the practice and development of psychic skills in todays marketplace that this one stands out head and shoulders above many of the genre.
Apart from the fact that Richard Webster is so obviously highly skilled and knowledgable in the subject he also displays in this publication what a thoroughly engaging writer and teacher he is.
He also demonstrates an innate level of fun for the book itself is somewhat infectious. With a mutually consenting partner the exercises contained within his book are guaranteed to draw a couple into a closer rapport with one another—perhaps more so than that other popular pastime that I understand couples generally enjoy together in the privacy of their own homes.
In Mind Reading Quick and Easy the reader is treated to a mind-bending journey into psychic work. Full of historical and anecdotal stories, supportive illustrations and some great practical insights this really is a first class book which I enjoyed immensely.
